How To: Make A Donation

Donations are always accepted, and we don't necessarily mean money! You can donate:

· Bridles 
· Saddles 
· Grooming Equipment 
· Tack Equipment 
· Helmets 
· Any other horse-related equipment 
· Money 
· Or, what we can always use, TIME. See our page about joining for more Info.

Or if you would like to donate a horse to us, we would be happy to accept it if it would fit with our program and goals. Must be people-friendly!

Everything you always wanted to know about donating to Turning Pointe Therapeutic Riding
But were too afraid to ask!

Each year, Turning Pointe is honored by the continuing support of hundreds of individuals and businesses. Often one would like to donate but is unsure of the "best fit." We offer the following suggestions for your consideration:

· Rider Scholarship Gifts ~ Turning Pointe continues its tradition of providing funds for those riders who are in financial need. A gift in this category enables us to continue to serve all our riders regardless of their ability to pay.

· Equine ala Carte Gifts ~ You may specify your gift for the care of one or more of our horses, or for certain categories such as grain and hay, or veterinary or farrier care.

· Honoring Gifts ~ Your gift may be made in honor of someone special to you.

· Special Purpose Gifts ~ These monetary gifts provide for a wide range of items on the Turning Pointe Wish List. This includes identification plates for the horses and equipment, badges for our volunteers, brushes for grooming, computer paper, improvements to our stables and replacement of tools. In other words, all the essential incidentals!

· Gifts in Kind ~ Gifts in kind are sometimes hard to measure, but hold great value. This category provides the donor a method to enrich Turning Pointe in a non-monetary way. These donations of actual products or services could be purchased equipment, books, videos, office supplies, signs, or skilled professional services. Please inquire about our needs.

· Benefit Contributions ~ We hold various fundraisers throughout the year, such as the fall Hunter Pace, an annual Trail Run, and our formal event. We gratefully accept donations to help support these and other events.

· Matching Gift Companies ~ Increase the value of your contribution with a matching corporate gift. The company you work for may extend their support on the behalf of their employees' commitment to our work.

· Memorial Gifts ~ Turning Pointe would be humbly grateful to accept your donation honoring the memory of a loved one.

We hope these suggestions are helpful and look forward to assisting you in achieving your charitable goals.
